Music & Studio

Music

For more than 30 years, music has played a central role at the Quiet Earth property.

In recent years, led by the Quiet Earth Curator Brent Jones, the Quiet Earth Music Studio, located in the property’s historic farmhouse, has provided a creative outlet for musicians from around the world to bring their songs to live.

Often led by Brent as producer and engineer, but open to other engineers and productions teams, Quiet Earth is an escape for those seeking a majestic natural and authentic space to create.

Quiet Earth Facilities

The Quiet Earth Studio includes a Grand Piano, numerous microphones, a Fender Rhodes, Hammond Organ, drum kit and other amenities that support a creative approach to making music.

Quiet Earth’s Facilities include a second Grand Piano in The Barn. With its high ceiling and incredible natural acoustics, The Barn has played host to recordings, video shoots, and concerts.

The studio is led by our curator, Brent Jones. Brent is a veteran performer, as a vocalist, band leader, and pianist, having produced and engineered dozens of songs and albums over the past decade. A producer who gives the artist room to be creative, Brent captures the essence of that artistry.

Quiet Earth’s Studio spaces are also available for use by outside engineers and producers.

In recent years, Quiet Earth’s Studio has hosted acts from around the world, including Emm Gryner, The Marrieds, Pete Dennome and the Cosmic Cowboys, Supernatural Buffalo, Black Heart Machine and Darren Powers.
